I grew up in Orange County (Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach area), but left
it for Arizona to attend Arizona State University. Upon graduation, stayed
there for 25 years pursuing a career in Marketing and Training inside the Property Management/Real Estate space.
10 years ago my wife and I left Arizona and moved to Carlsbad and now Vista.
We chose this area because my wife has family here and
after driving back and forth from Phoenix countless times, we fell in
love with it. In my experience, there is just no other place like Southern California.
What are your favorite activities/hobbies? Why?
Photography and traveling, which just happens to go hand in hand. In 2020,
my wife and I along with our dog Zoe ,hit the road in our RV traveling across
the country and back for 5 months through 14 states visiting most of the
popular National Parks. I seriously, can’t get enough of the thrill that comes
from exploring new places, not knowing what you will see and experience
next while trying to capture those moments in time through the art of
Photography.
Where are your favorite vacation spots? Why?
That’s a tough one. Family Vacation: Both my parents were born in England
so I have been there quite a few times throughout my life. Always love going
back to visit family while at the same time learning how my parents grew up
and the struggles and accomplishments of the time. Love experiencing the
history that is so evident through the European architecture from its castles
to quaint seaport villages to famous large cities and everything in-between.
Relaxing Vacation: Taking a cruise ship where there is no cell phone service
to some tropical paradise where the days are long and the water is turquoise
blue. On the go Vacation: Our 2020 trip around the country that I spoke of.
How are you involved in the community?
My photography is in local Galleries/shops supporting local business.
Reaching out to the needs of the local community and beyond through our church and
supporting charities with a focus on children in need and our Veterans.
